VENUE

LUCCA CITY WALLS

Lucca city walls are a world-renowned symbol of the city, famous for their artistic beauty and for the historical importance.

Building of the walls dates back to the Renaissance time, from mid sixteenth century to mid seventeenth century: the walls are still intact today. From an architectural point of view, the walls consist of  twelve earthfill embankments linking eleven bastions, twelve metres high and thirty metres wide at the base. They run for more than four kilometres building up a nice city park. The centuries-old trees such as sycamores, horse chestnuts, red oaks etc. are a wonderful natural background.

THE STRUTS

Now with their full-length debut Everybody Wants, lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies reveal the supreme mix of massive riffs and powerfully catchy melodies that’s already slain so many adoring audiences around the globe.
